Oleksandr Solovei

Head of the practice, certification and employment department of KSMA.

In 2001 he graduated from Kherson State University and received a diploma in “Physics and basics of computer science “. In 2004 he graduated from Kherson Maritime College with a degree in Navigation. From 2001 he worked at Kherson Maritime College as a teacher, deputy head of navigation department, head of navigation department. Since March 2008 he has been the Head of the practice, certification and employment department of KSMA. Trainings:

During his work at KSMA he has significant achievements in his professional activity. In 2009 he was awarded a diploma from the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The Head of the practice, certification and employment department of KSMA performs the following duties:

To control the referral of cadets for sailing practice.

  • To organize work on finding and expanding the range of shipping companies, shipping agencies and other shipowners who agree to accept cadets of academy for sailing practice.
  • To participate in cooperation with foreign shipping and crewing companies in the field of organizing practical training of cadets.
  • To organize and controls the employment process of graduates.
  • To control the process of developing methodological documentation for the practice.

Liubov Shapar

Specialist of the first category of the practice, certification and employment department of KSMA.

Since 2008 she has worked as the Secretary of the practice, certification and employment department of KSMA, in 2012 she was transferred to the position of a specialist of the first category. In 2008 she graduated from Kherson State University and received a master’s degree in “Pedagogy and methodology of secondary education. Biology “and qualified as a teacher of biology, teacher of chemistry, valeology and basics of ecology.

The specialist of the first category of the practice, certification and employment department of KSMA performs the following duties:

• to deal with the organization and control of employment of academy graduates.

• to carry out work on search and expansion of the list of shipping companies, maritime agencies and shipowners who agree to accept cadets of academy for sailing practice with the subsequent employment.

• to supervise the maintenance of documentation on cooperation agreements between KSMA and shipping companies, shipping agencies, institutions, organizations and ports.

• to control the process of obtaining working documents of 2nd class sailor / 2nd class motorist.

• to conduct briefings among cadets on the sequence of registration of documents for sailing practice.

Tetiana Shpilievaia

Specialist of the II category of the practice, certification and employment department of KSMA

She has been working at academy since December 2016. She graduated from Kherson Institute of Economics and Law in 2002 and received a diploma of a specialist in “Management of Foreign Economic Activity”

Duties:

• to carry out control of document circulation at registration of cadets on sailing practice.

• to prepare reference material for the head of the practice, certification and employment department of KSMA.

• execution and approval of orders for sailing practice.

• to collect documents of cadets on the performance of sailing experience on ships throughout their training and their further storage.

• to facilitate the preparation of all necessary documents and information for cadets’ interviews with representatives of companies, commissions, etc.

• to provide timely processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence related to orders, calls from companies for referral to sailing practice.

• to carry out control of document circulation on the cadets directed on sailing practice.

• to instruct cadets on the sequence and correctness of the documents for sailing practice.
