The Academy has five well equipped research laboratories. Their priority activities are directed at new theoretical and applied researches in the transportation sphere.
Young scientists and cadets of the Academy are actively involved in the research conducted in the laboratories. Experimental research for the cadets’ course and diploma thesis is done in the laboratories as well.

Laboratory of Polymer Composite Materials in Navigation at the Department of Transport Technologies and Engineering
Laboratory of Innovative Technologies at the Department of Innovative Technologies and Technical Means of Navigation
Laboratory of Ship Energy Saving Electrical Power Complexes at the Department of Ship Electrical Equipment Operation and Automation Facilities
Laboratory of Marine Ecology in the operation of ships at the Department of Ship Handling
