Research Activities of the Department (Academic Year 2023-2024)

In 2024, the academic staff of the English Language Department for Deck Officers commenced a research project titled Innovative learning technologies for effective maritime communication(Registration No. 0124U001986).

Head of the Research Project: Valentyna Kudryavtseva. Responsible Executor of the Research Project: Olena Frolova.

Stages and Timelines of the Research Project:

1. Development of a strategy for implementing innovative learning technologies in the preparation of students for professional maritime communication (01.01.2024 – 31.12.2024);

2. Testing and analysis of the effectiveness of innovative learning technologies at Maritime English classes (01.01.2025 – 31.12.2025).

The objective of the Research Project: explore the possibilities and implement innovative learning technologies in the process of training future navigators for professional communication.
