Education

Kherson State Pedagogical Institute named after N.K. Krupskaia with a degree in Russian language and literature, English language.

Since 2001 – PhD in Pedagogy, speciality 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Teaching: Germanic Languages.

In 2004 awarded the academic degree of Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages.

Teaches the disciplines “Maritime English Language”, “Business English”, and “Foreign Language (English) for Academic Purposes”.

Academic and Professional Experience

Until 2001: Associate Professor, Department of Foreign Languages, Kherson State University.

2002–2011: Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Kherson Law Institute of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

2011–2014: Head of the Department of English for Marine Engineers, Kherson State Maritime Academy.

Since 2025: Head of the Department of English for Marine Engineers, Kherson State Maritime Academy.

Research Interests

Digital technologies in teaching English in a maritime context; development of professionally oriented English-language communicative competence in a distance learning environment, teaching English based on a skills-based approach, and professional development of foreign language teachers.
