Graduated in 2001 from Kherson State Technical University and received complete higher education in specialty Information Systems, qualification – Specialist in information systems.
In 2004 he graduated from full-time postgraduate study at Kherson National Technical University.
He graduated from Kherson State Maritime Academy in 2014 and received higher education in specialty 271 River and sea transport, qualification – Bachelor, Chief Mate.
In 2020 he received his Ph.D. in technical sciences, specialty 05.02.01 Materials Science, thesis topic Development of modified corrosion-resistant polymer composite coatings for protection of vehicles.
Teaches in English disciplines Information systems for technical support of ships, Modern automated ship traffic control systems, Electro navigation, Ensuring navigation safety.
Experience of scientific and pedagogical work, including KSMA, is 20 years.
Oleg Bezbakh has published more than 30 scientific and methodological works, is author / co-author of more than 20 scientific articles published in collections included in list of professional publications in Ukraine and publications in collections of abstracts of 10 international conferences, received 4 patents of Ukraine for useful model. He is also co-author of monograph Modern information technologies for ensuring safety of navigation and their complex use.
Research interests: improving operational characteristics and increasing efficiency of using technical means of navigation.
Advanced training: course on teaching and assessment methodology, developed by IMO courses 6.09, 6.10, 3.12, KSMA, containing instruction techniques, methods and practices for training and assessing seafarers’ competence (60 hours, 2 ECTS credits).
