The conference was hosted by the Universitat de Barcelona (Spain).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the conference, Iryna Shvetsova presented her paper entitled&nbsp;\u201cImplementing Teacher-Designed Written Resources to Develop L2 Pragmatic Competence in Maritime English\u201d, which focused on the development of pragmatic competence among maritime students in the process of learning English for Specific Purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentation highlighted the potential of specially designed written instructional resources to support the development of pragmatic skills among future maritime professionals.
