{"id":7947,"date":"2021-03-17T12:41:50","date_gmt":"2021-03-17T09:41:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.ksma.ks.ua\/?page_id=7947"},"modified":"2026-06-18T12:07:23","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T09:07:23","slug":"training-of-scientific-personnel-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ksma.ks.ua\/?page_id=7947&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Training of scientific personnel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The development of scientific personnel at the Department of Marine Electrical Equipment and Automation (MEEA) is built upon high professionalism, beginning with the training of higher education applicants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Under the second (Master&#8217;s) level<\/strong> educational and professional program in specialization J5.03 &#8220;Operation of Marine Electrical Equipment and Automation&#8221;;<\/li><li><strong>Under the third (educational and scientific) level<\/strong> educational and scientific program in specialty G7 &#8220;Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies&#8221;.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the initiative research projects of the MEEA Department&#8217;s faculty, research groups of higher education students are formed, providing them with the opportunity to engage in the most advanced, productive, and relevant studies. The department&#8217;s academic staff offers the following key research areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Development of control systems for local electric power complexes using artificial intelligence technologies (Polyvoda V.V., Simanenkov A.L.);<\/li><li>Improvement of technological, informational, and mathematical support for marine automated control systems (Polyvoda V.V., Simanenkov A.L.);<\/li><li>Methods and means of improving the operational characteristics of marine electrical equipment and automation tools (Doshchenko H.H., Holoshchapov S.S.);<\/li><li>Enhancing the efficiency of electric power conversion control processes in autonomous electrical systems, taking into account competence-based and communicative approaches (Faculty and teaching staff of the Department).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The results of these studies include numerous presentations at student, All-Ukrainian, and international conferences, publication of research papers, and participation in competitions, seminars, and conferences of various levels (see the <em>Scientific Research<\/em> section).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leveraging the high caliber of the MEEA Department&#8217;s teaching, research, and academic staff, KSMA Master&#8217;s graduates are actively involved in further scientific endeavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the following <strong>PhD students<\/strong> are conducting their research at the Department of Marine Electrical Equipment and Automation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Artem S. Tovstokoryi<\/strong>, dissertation topic: <em>&#8220;Automation of Ship Control Processes with Auxiliary Wind Propulsion Systems&#8221;<\/em>, academic supervisor: ScD in Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor Zinchenko S.M.;<\/li><li><strong>Yurii A. Kozachok<\/strong>, dissertation topic: <em>&#8220;Coordination of Collective Behavior of Autonomous Vessels&#8221;<\/em>, academic supervisor: ScD in Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor Zinchenko S.M.;<\/li><li><strong>Oleksii O.
