The laboratory is designed for engine room personnel competency development and assessment. It contains two fully functional engine rooms. According to the international qualification it is a full-mission class A simulator by DNV. Each of the engine rooms is designed for the simultaneous training of 6 people. The training consoles are equipped with touchpads that simulate the operation of the controls for all devices in the engine room. At the same time, mnemonic diagrams of separate units and mechanisms can be displayed, so that you their operating parameters are under control. Laboratory simulators are integrated with a fully functional ship navigation bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
