SMarTAI will foster strong partnerships between higher education institutions and key industry stakeholders. It will promote innovation &amp; green approaches and contribute to optimised &amp; cleaner maritime operations. Through a series of targeted courses, capacity building activities &amp; online professional course development, SMarTAI aims to disseminate valuable knowledge &amp; best practice in advanced AI technology &amp; sustainable practices, reaching a wider audience and ensuring that individuals from diverse backgrounds, experience levels &amp; minorities can benefit from training. The project is strategically positioned to address the urgent need for smart &amp; sustainable practices that increase the efficiency, safety &amp; environmental sustainability of the maritime industry, while providing a comprehensive approach to maritime education that aligns with the United Nations SDGs.
