It is the registered union located in Bonn, Germany. Its members are all state-accredited HEIs and their students\u2019 representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KSMA participated in two training courses on internationalisation within the framework of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the basis of FH M\u00fcnster University of Applied Sciences there was remotely completed the <strong>course &#8220;THEA Ukraine &#8211; Training for Higher Education Administrators in Ukraine\u201d<\/strong>. THEA Ukraine is professional development programme for Ukrainian higher education administrators in the field of internationalisation in higher education and science management. It combines training elements with consultation for organisational development projects. Such skills as strategic planning, project and process management, change management for internationalisation were developed in the result of the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div institutions of higher education participate in the training course<strong> \u201cManagement of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2022-2023\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course \u201cManagement of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2022-2023\u201d has been developed by the International Office of Leibniz University Hannover within the DAAD Programme \u201cSupport for the internationalisation of Ukrainian higher education institutions \u2013 continuing education programmes for administrators at Ukrainian higher education institutions in education and academic management (2022\u20132023)\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key objective of the training course is to provide staff of Ukrainian higher education institutions with the latest knowledge of the different aspects of internationalisation and its management as well as to develop Ukrainian-German cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participants:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>will learn about the concepts and strategies of internationalisation of higher education in different countries;<\/li><li>will compare German and Ukrainian systems and structure of higher education institutions;<\/li><li>will learn how to manage all aspects of academic mobility and scientific cooperation;<\/li><li>will learn how to develop and implement appropriate strategy of internalisation or any other individual project regarding internalisation relevant to their higher education institution;<\/li><li>will be informed about available instruments for international cooperation funding.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The training course started in January 2022, includes online workshops and short-term internships at German universities and will end with reporting conference in May, 2023.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PROJECT DURATION:&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>January 2022 \u2013 June \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PROJECT PARTICIPANTS<\/strong> on behalf of Kherson State Maritime Academy are Mariia Masonkova and Iryna Shvetsova.<br>The programme is designed to provide participants with the profound knowledge of the different aspects of internationalisation and to enable them to manage the corresponding processes and tasks as well as foster the internationalisation of their universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The programme provides an insight into the available funding instruments for international cooperation with on-site-visits of Volkswagen Foundation, Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation, HRK, DAAD, DFG as well as short internships at selected institutions. The German-Ukrainian Academic Society e.V. as well as the Science Management Network support the realisation of the programme and provide guidance for individual projects as well as assistance in internship placements and networking activities and contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The training is designed to accommodate the needs of various Ukrainian institutions of higher education with different levels of experience in the field of internationalisation and assist them to establish or join the corresponding national and international networks. The gained international administrative capacities and corresponding professional skills will enable the participants to use the networks and launch co-operative cross border projects of mutual interest.
