and Methodological Facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The training system of cadets\/student is fully in line with the requirements of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW 78\/95 as amended).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The main department\u2019s tasks of educational and methodical work are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>optimization of the structure and content of academic disciplines;<\/li><li>improving the methodology of training;<\/li><li>improving the scientific and pedagogical qualification of the department\u2019s teachers;<\/li><li>implementation of the results of department\u2019s scientific researches in educational process;<\/li><li>development of the educational-methodical and logistical support of educational classes;<\/li><li>implementation of interactive forms of learning in the learning process using LMS MOODLE;<\/li><li>development of certification programs for cadets\/student;<\/li><li>participation in the development of educational programs for bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in the ship technical systems and complexes management.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The quality of training is ensured by:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 using interactive teaching methods;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 consolidation of theoretical knowledge and demonstration of the acquired skills of carrying a machine watch on full-function simulators of the engine room;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 practical shipboard training;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 forming professional skills in the technical use, maintenance and repair of elements of the vessel&#8217;s power plant in the department laboratories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Demonstration of acquired competencies is also carried out by passing test tasks, doing and defense of course projects and graduation works, as well as during the passing a comprehensive qualification exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The department teachers systematically work on improving the methods of control of learning materials (testing, development of control tasks and examination materials), optimization of tasks for independent work, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The department teaches the following disciplines:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li><strong>according to the vocational training program for Bachelors of vessel technical systems and complexes management<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Introduction to specialty;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Preparing for shipboard practice;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vessel\u2019s boiler plants and their operation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vessel\u2019s refrigeration equipment and its operation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vessel\u2019s turbine plants and their operation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vessel\u2019s internal combustion engines and their operation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vessel\u2019s diesel units and systems and their operation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vessel\u2019s auxiliary installations and systems, cargo and deck mechanisms;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical diagnostics of vessel\u2019s power plants;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintenance and repair of vessel&#8217;s technical equipment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical use of vessel&#8217;s technical equipment, ER crew management and safe watchkeeping;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laboratory workshop &#8220;Simulator training&#8221;;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preparing for certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>according to the vocational training program of training Masters of operation of ship\u2019s technical systems and complexes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organization and technology of vessel repair;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Optimization of operating modes of vessels power plants;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use of methods of technical diagnostics during the operation of vessel&#8217;s technical equipment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prevention of pollution of the marine environment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vessel mechanisms and systems, their maintenance and operation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organization of vessel\u2019s power plants technical operation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work and management organization of the vessel&#8217;s crew;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The use of technical diagnostics methods during the operation of vessel\u2019s equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>according to the vocational training program of training Doctors of Philosophy of vessel technical systems and complexes operation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Practical methods of mathematical statistics in scientific researches<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Water transport system engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Research methods of vessel\u2019s technical systems and complexes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Methods of ensuring the quality and reliability of vessel\u2019s technical systems and complexes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Methods of objects and vessel\u2019s technical systems and complexes identification<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Methods of full-scale and
