  1. According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine dated March 29, 2012 № 379, the Specialized Academic Board has been granted the right for the period from March 29, 2012 to March 28, 2013 to facilitate thesis defense at a viva voce in the specialty 05.02.01 – Materials Sciences.

According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated July 4, 2013 № 893, the Specialized Academic Board has been granted the right for the period from 04.07.2013 to 03.07.2015 to facilitate thesis defense at a viva voce in the specialty 05.02.01 – Materials Sciences.

According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated October 7, 2015 № 1021, the Specialized Academic Board has been granted the right for the period from 10/29/2015 to 10/29/2017 to facilitate thesis defense at a viva voce in the specialty 05.02.01 – Materials Sciences.

  • Throughout the period under report, the Specialized Academic Board held 26 meetings, where 8 PhD theses have been defended (7 of which written in Ukrainian language). None of theses have been re-certified, no appeals have been considered, no peer-reviews of the theses have been done, no one-time theses defenses have been facilitated.
  • Number of rejected PhD theses – none.
