From March 6 to 14, 2021, Kherson hosted the individual-team championship of Ukraine among juniors in checkers-100 among mini-cadets and juniors. Cadet of the Kherson State Maritime Academy Kirill Polevshchikov (123 gr.) Took part in the competition and won the first place in the most prestigious type of competition – the classic game among juniors. With his victory, he won the right to represent Ukraine at the European and World Championships in 2021.
