He graduated from the Kherson Naval Academy of the MMF in 1968 with a degree in “Radio and Electroradio Navigation of the Navy and Fishing Fleet”, Leningrad Higher Naval Engineering School named by adm. Makarov in 1977, specialty in “Radio Engineering”, Novorossiysk State Maritime Academy. F.F. Ushakov in 2000 with a degree in “Navigation on sea routes”.
