He graduated from the Kherson Naval Academy of the MMF in 1969. He worked in the Far East, including fishing vessels, then in the foreign fleet on dry cargo, offshore vessels, lifeboats. Captain of long-distance sailing since 1991. He has been working at KSMA since 2017 as a laboratory manager and part-time senior lecturer. He teaches the disciplines “Maritime Practice” and “Ship Management”, specializing in rigging.
