In 2014 he graduated from Kherson State Maritime Academy and received Master’s degree with honors, specialty – Navigation.
In 2019 he defended his Ph.D. thesis in the specialty 05.22.13 – Navigation and traffic control. Dissertation topic: “Methods and models for increasing the efficiency of maritime navigation based on inertial navigation systems under uncertainty”.
2007 – 2019 he worked on ships of various types of Marlow Navigation company. 2014 – 2016 he worked on the training and simulator ship Warnow Jupiter and in the crewing company Marlow Navigation Ukraine as a Training Officer, where he conducted more than 1000 interviews on the employment of ratings and officers. Since 2016, he has been working on container ships as Chief Mate. The rank of Deep Sea Captain was awarded in 2019. Leading Instructor of Kherson Marine Specialized Training Center since 2018. Licensed GMDSS instructor for general and limited GMDSS operator training.
Member of Nautical Institute (MNI) and International Maritime Lecturers Association (IMLA).
Expert of the working group of International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU) on detailed review of STCW in 2021.
Teaches the discipline “Ship management” and the selective discipline “Preparation for inspections of the state port supervision”.
Research interests: safe and effective planning of ship passage, operator of autonomous surface ships, blended learning, emotional intelligence and motivation of students to achieve high studying and make successful career.
