Hryhorii Shchedrin – Vice Admiral. Hero of the Soviet Union. Graduated in 1932. Commander of the submarine «C–56». His name is placed on board the ship, in the square in Petropavlovsk on Kamchatka, in Park of Glory in Kherson. A memorial plaque has been erected in his honour at Maritime College. He is an honorary citizen of Tuapse. Honorary cadet of Maritime College. The boat «C–56» is placed on the shores of Golden Horn Bay, was awarded the title of Guards and the Order of the Red Banner. After the war and graduation from Military Academy of the General Staff, he was a commander of the Kamchatka military fleet, a chairman of the standing commission of the state reception of ships of the Navy, an editor-in-chief of the magazine «Maritime Collection». Leonid Demin – Rear Admiral. Graduated in 1917. Professor, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Engineer.
