“ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF TEACHING EDUCATIONAL COMPONENTS
OF SOCIAL AND HUMANITARIAN SPHERE IN HIGHER EDUCATION”
On June 5, 2024, the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Actual Problems of Teaching Educational Components of Social and Humanitarian Sphere in Higher Education’ was held in online mode, and co-organised by the faculty of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and Innovative Pedagogy of KSMA. The event was realized due to the contributions of the co-organisers: Science Park of KSMA “Maritime Industry Innovations”, University of Plymouth (United Kingdom), Lithuanian Maritime Academy (Lithuania), Batumi State Maritime Academy (Georgia), Danube Institute of the National University “Odesa Maritime Academy”, State Biotechnological University, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Polissia National University, International Association of Psychologists and Expert Coaches. Teachers of social sciences, humanities, and Maritime English at KSMA, along with students of the Academy, exchanged professional experiences with colleagues from 11 leading national universities and international institutions from Georgia, Lithuania, the UK, and the US in the following areas:
- Theoretical and practical workshop “Humanities and Social Sciences in Higher Education”
- Scientific sandpit “Professional Development of English Language Teachers in Higher Education”
- Workshop “Current Issues of Psychology: Theory and Practice”
- Round table “Management: Modern Technologies and Practices”.
We express our gratitude to our colleagues from Ukraine and leading countries worldwide for the exchange of thoughts, ideas, and experiences, and we look forward to a future meeting in a peaceful country. Our heartfelt thanks go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their defense and for enabling us to contribute to the welfare of Ukraine!
