On 7–9 October 2026, the annual international conference “Days of Ukraine 2026 in Brandenburg” was held in Wildau and Berlin, Germany, marking the 10th anniversary of the German-Ukrainian Academic Society (DUAG). The event brought together representatives of universities, research institutions and government bodies to discuss research achievements and prospects for Ukrainian-German academic cooperation.
Kherson State Maritime Academy was represented at the conference by Iryna SHVETSOVA, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor at English Language Department for Deck Officers. As a member of DUAG, she took part in the conference’s academic programme and presented the results of her research.
The conference was organised by Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau. The academic and ceremonial events took place at the university, at Representation of the State of Brandenburg in Berlin, and at Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
The conference programme included presentations of interdisciplinary research, discussions on educational initiatives, and the development of cooperation between Ukrainian and German researchers. Participation in the conference contributes to promoting KSMA’s research achievements within the international academic community and expanding professional ties with the European research community.
