On March 12, 2026 there has been held an online career guidance meeting for senior students of Ochakiv Lyceum No. 4 (Mykolaiv region).
As part of the event, Natalia OGORODNYK (Head of Department, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor), Ivan RIABUKHA (Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences), Maryna OHIIENKO (Senior Lecturer), and Yuliia TYMOSHCHUK (Senior Lecturer) introduced prospective applicants with the academic opportunities at Kherson State Maritime Academy.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the benefits of a maritime career, focusing on rapid professional growth and the high prestige of working within the global maritime industry. Special emphasis was placed on: KSMA’s strategic partnerships with leading international crewing agencies; collaboration with European higher education institutions; joint dual-degree programs.
Daniil Shyk, a cadet from group 341, was also invited to the online meeting. He spoke about the advantages of studying at Kherson State Maritime Academy and shared his personal experience regarding the specifics of completing his onboard practical training.
We are confident that this event will foster informed career choices among graduates and serve as a solid foundation for their future professional development.
