On December 15, 2025, an online career guidance event was held for graduating students of the Kherson Educational Complex “Preschool Educational Institution – Specialized School with In-Depth English Study – Gymnasium” No. 56 of the Kherson City Council.
The meeting was held by Valentina Kudryavtseva, Head of the English Language Department for Deck Officers, Natalia Ohorodnyk, Head of the English Language Department in Marine Engineering, and Head of the Future education and skills development training center Ivan Riabukha. During online communication, students learned about the different courses they can study at the academy, the special role of English for future maritime specialists and how it is taught at the academy, as well as the benefits of becoming a seafarer, such as getting a prestigious profession with quick growth and good pay.
The students were informed about good relationships the KSMA has with crewing companies, onboard seagoing practice, 100% employment of bachelor degree graduates, and and double degree programs between the academy and some higher education institutions in Europe.
The event was held due to assistance of Svitlana MYKYTYUK, director of the educational complex.
