Associate Professor of English Language Department for Marine Engineers Alona YURZHENKO, as part of Kherson State Maritime Academy team, took part in the “Training Programme for Academic Managers”. This is a unique initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It is implemented by the British Council as part of the joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science and the World Bank ‘Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results’. For four days in Kyiv, at the Mariupol State University, KSMA team completed the first module of the programme “Role of Universities in the Context of Social Transformations”. During the training, they discussed the latest educational trends, dual and practice-oriented education, partnership models with communities and stakeholders, and the implementation of the third mission of the university. #UIHERP #AcademicManagersUA
