Senior Teacher
Teaches “Maritime English” for cadets of full-time in 2nd and 3rd years of training and part-time in 1st snd 2nd years of training in the J “Transport” field of knowledge, J5 “Sea and inland water transport” specialty, J5.02 “Operation of ship technical systems and complexes” specialization.
Education
Graduated from Kherson State University, majoring in “Pedagogy and methods of higher education. Language and literature (English, German)” and received the qualification of a teacher of English, German and foreign literature.
Advanced Training
Completed advanced training courses at KNTU at the department of theory and practice of industry translation on the topic: “Education of students using online platforms”; at KSMA on the topic: “Development of an electronic course in the discipline based on LMS MOODLE using electronic learning tools and services”; and with World Extreme Medicine “Medics 4 UKRAINE” received training on tactical casualty care.
Research interests
Teaching Maritime English (English for Specific Purposes (ESP)) to marine engineers at KSMA, developing professional communicative competence through authentic maritime texts, technical and operational documentation, as well as the analysis of accident reports and hazardous situations in the maritime industry.
