On February 16, 2026, the final stage of an interdepartmental introductory webinar was held. The event was devoted to reviewing the instructional and methodological support of the English language course delivered under the abridged programme on Moodle by academic staff of English Language Department for Deck Officers and English Language Department for Marine Engineers.
During the event, the structure and content of the course were presented, along with the specifics of organizing the learning materials and the logic behind the thematic framework. Special attention was given to aligning approaches to course element design, unifying requirements for test tasks, and exploring opportunities to ensure individualized educational trajectories for higher education students.
Academic staff members O. TSYHANENKO and Yu. TYMOSHCHUK presented their developments regarding the structuring of materials under the abridged programme, discussed practical aspects of course content development, and outlined further steps to improve the instructional and methodological support in order to achieve a unified, logically structured, and user-friendly system.
