On January 23, 2026, a webinar dedicated to the DigiMar project was held for the academic staff of the English Language Department for Deck Officers of Kherson State Maritime Academy. The project coordinator, Prof. Dr. Violeta Jurkovič (University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport, Slovenia), introduced the participants to the key objectives of the project and demonstrated how its outcomes can be applied in the professional activities of educators.
DigiMar is an Erasmus+ project aimed at enhancing navigational safety by developing communication skills of maritime students. The project involves the creation of digital learning tools with open access for a wide range of users.
The webinar was organized on the initiative of Olena Frolova, Associate Professor of the English Language Department for Deck Officers.
