On December 11-12, 2025, the 5th International Maritime Scientific Conference “Maritime Research and Education in Global Context” was held at Batumi State Maritime Academy (Georgia). Representatives of English Language Department for Deck Officers also took part in the event.
Associate Professor Olena MOROZ participated in the conference in person and delivered a presentation “Developing decision-making skill while teaching Maritime English”. Professor Iryna SHVETSOVA joined the conference remotely with a presentation titled “XR-Enhanced Maritime English Training for Digital Navigation”. Participation in the international scientific conference contributed to professional exchange, discussion of current issues in maritime education, and the integration of innovative educational technologies into the teaching and learning process.
