On December 10, 2025, Senior Teacher Olha TSYHANENKO held an informative online career-guidance session for the students of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 36, during which high school students discovered a new and often unfamiliar field — the maritime industry and the opportunities offered by modern maritime education.
During the interactive discussion, Olha TSYHANENKO highlighted the key features of working at sea, provided examples of specializations that are in high demand withing the global logistics system nowadays, as well as dispelled some myths about the professions, emphasizing that a maritime career is not only about the romance of travel but also a full-fledged international profession that provides financial stability and independence, rapid career growth, and the opportunity to see the world.
