On December 4, 2025, an online career guidance meeting was held with students of Mykolaiv Lyceum No. 38 “Municipal Collegium” named after Volodymyr Chaika of the Mykolaiv City Council, Mykolaiv region.

During the event, Associate Professor Olena FROLOVA described the educational process at Kherson State Maritime Academy (KSMA), and highlighted the strengths of a seafaring career – from rapid career growth to the prestige of profession in the international maritime industry. Special attention was given to the advantages of studying at KSMA, including cooperation with leading crewing companies, partnership relations with European higher education institutions, and the opportunity to obtain a double international diploma.

Electronic booklets containing information about faculties and academic programs at KSMA, as well as the admissions office’s contact details for additional consultations, were distributed among all 11th-grade students of the lyceum.

The meeting was made possible through the support of the Lyceum Director, Serhii SICHKO, Candidate of Historical Sciences, People’s Teacher of Ukraine; the class teacher of 11-A, Larysa DROBINA, specialist of the highest category, teacher-methodologist, and the class teacher of 11-B, Svitlana KHAMITSEVYCH, specialist of the highest category, teacher-methodologist.
