On October 23, 2025, the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “MODERN TENDENCIES IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES” was held at Kherson State Maritime Academy.
The event became a platform for the exchange of experience and scientific ideas among representatives of the educational community from Ukraine, Lithuania, Slovenia, Poland, Georgia, Croatia, and Greece.
The conference gathered 102 participants, including lecturers, researchers, teachers, and higher education students. During the sessions, 11 insightful presentations were delivered, focusing on modern linguistic and pedagogical aspects of teaching foreign languages for professional purposes, the use of digital technologies, online platforms, and artificial intelligence tools in the language training of future professionals.
The role of conference moderator was performed by Scientific Secretary of the conference Larysa LIPSHYTS, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor of English Language Department for Deck Officers. The welcome speeches of the honorary guests and conference partners were interpreted by Ivan RIABUKHA, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of English Language Department for Marine Engineers. Technical support for the event was ensured by Secretary in charge of the conference Valeriia LIKHOSHERSTOVA, Teacher of English Language Department for Deck Officers.
Based on the results of the conference, the conference proceedings and personalized certificates were prepared.
