On May 29, 2025, English Language Department for Deck Officers held a webinar titled “Developing Technical Skills to Enhance the Educational Process”. This was the third webinar in a series dedicated to the development of technical skills, aimed at familiarizing the department’s academic staff with the specifics of using applications, software, and websites useful for working with cadets, creating educational materials, and improving digital literacy.
During the webinar, Senior Lecturer of the department Kseniia BOIKO shared her experience using applications to convert text materials into audio files with the help of artificial intelligence. Kseniia BOIKO demonstrated in detail the process of creating and combining various audio fragments, and also introduced the participants to the key aspects of working with such services.
The acquired knowledge is of practical value and can be immediately applied in the professional activities of the department’s academic staff.
