On April 25, 2025 a webinar titled “Safety Meeting: Actions, Risks, and Procedures in Maritime Practice” was successfully held at Kherson State Maritime Academy. The event was initiated and conducted by Dr. Iryna SHVETSOVA, Professor of English Language Department for Deck Officers at Kherson State Maritime Academy. The speaker of the webinar was Mariia PIKHULIA, a 5th-year cadet of Navigation Faculty.
Mariia shared practical knowledge on risk prevention, emergency actions, and safety procedures onboard. Cadets from various maritime educational institutions joined the event and showed interest in the topic of safety management onboard. The webinar was conducted in English, allowing participants to enhance their understanding of professional terminology and improve their communication skills.
