On 29 January 2025, an online meeting with 10th and 11th-grade students of Mykolaiv Lyceum No. 55 was held as part of career-oriented guidance.
The event was held by Oleksandra LITIKOVA, Associate Professor of the English Language Department Marine Engineers, and senior teachers of the department Irina AFANASIEVSKA and Nadezhda POHORLETSKA. More than 100 students attended the meeting.
During the event, the teachers introduced the students to maritime professions and their prospects, told them about the specialties and departments of Kherson State Maritime Academy, focused the attention of graduates on the benefits of studying at the Academy, cooperation with international employers, employment opportunities, and double diploma program.
In the warm atmosphere of the meeting, the students learned about the role of KSMA in training maritime specialists and the peculiarities of the maritime English language. The teachers invited the graduates to join the Open Days at Kherson State Maritime Academy to learn more about the institution and the admission rules for 2025.
