
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor (part-time)
1994–1997 – studied at the full-time postgraduate course of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute.
In 2002 – defended his candidate’s thesis in the specialty 05.08.05 – “Ship Power Plants” (DK No. 016396 dated 13.11.2002).
Since 1999, he has worked as a senior lecturer, associate professor, head of the department of the Kherson Faculty of the Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University.
Since 2004, he has worked part-time as an associate professor of the Department of Ship Power Plants of the Kherson Maritime Institute.
In 2006 – was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Combustion Engines (02DC No. 012394 dated 04/20/2006).
In 2021, he defended his dissertation in the specialty 05.05.03 – Engines and Power Plants and received the scientific degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences (DD No. 011164 dated 04/15/2021).
In 2022, he was awarded the academic title of Professor at the Department of Operation of Ship Power Plants (02AP No. 003805 dated 02/01/2022).
Has more than 170 scientific and methodological works, of which 60 scientific articles in professional publications of Ukraine and 16 articles published in foreign publications that are included in the Scopus scientometric database. Author and co-author of five monographs and 28 educational and teaching aids.
Field of scientific interests: working and supporting processes in internal combustion engines operating on alternative fuels.
Teaches the disciplines “Marine internal combustion engines and their operation”, “Fuel systems of modern marine engines”, “Methods of research of ship technical systems and complexes” and “Modern systems for controlling the working processes of marine internal combustion engines”.
