In the period from the 4th to the 29th of November 2024 were held online personal physical fitness testing competitions under the Programme of the Student Games of Kherson region among students of higher educational institutions.
The competition was organised by the Kherson Regional Branch of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The coordinator from the Kherson State Maritime Academy was Valerii SVYRYDA, the chairman of the sports club. The competition covered such test exercises as: crunches (for 30 seconds), flexion and extension of the arms in a prone position, broad jumps and pull-ups.
The Academy was honourably represented by the applicants of higher education of the navigation faculty (Nikita PANCHENKO gr. 122, Kirill KUZYUK gr. 111) and marine engineering faculty (Denis KUCHER gr. 321, Artem ANTONYUK gr. 311sp).
Nikita PANCHENKO, who took the 3rd place among young men in the final competitions of speed crunches (30 seconds), achieved special success. Online checkers tournament 09.12.2024:
