The project “Enhancing Language Skills: DSU’s English as a Second Language Program”, implemented in collaboration with Dayananda Sagar University (India), has been successfully completed. The goal was to enhance the language skills of future mariners. Over the course of 12 weeks, 26 cadets from KSMA and Maritime Applied College, under the supervision of Associate Professor of English Language Department for Deck Officers, Ph.D. Svitlana Barsuk explored important aspects of the English language as well as improved their reading, essay writing, and presentation skills. Upon completion of the program, participants passed exams and received certificates that acknowledge their achievements.
