From 23rd to 27th of September 2024, an Olympic week was held for the second year education applicants of Navigation and Ship Engineering faculties of the Kherson State Maritime Academy, who are undergoing offline studies in Odessa, organised by the Chairman of the Sports Club and Senior Lecturer of the Department Valeriy Svirida.
The week started with a special Olympic lesson, where the outstanding Ukrainian track and field athlete, Honoured Master of Sports of Ukraine, three-time silver medallist of the Summer Paralympic Games Victoria Kravchenko spoke. Her inspiring words became a real source of motivation for each participant.
During the week there were competitions in pull-up on the crossbar, bending and extending arms on the uneven bars, mini-football and basketball. The participants of the competitions got a lot of emotions and good mood. The Olympic week became a vivid example of unity, strength of spirit and sports enthusiasm.
