An innovative event “Virtual Poster Session”, coordinated by Deputy Head in Organizational Activities, PhD, Docent, Associate Professor of the department Iryna Shvetsova, was held on May 26, 2023.
The following cadets took part in the event:
group 111-1 – Eugen Rychak, Vladyslav Luzhetskyi, Yuriy Parasei, Vladyslav Kuzmenko, Vladyslav Yurkov, Rostyslav Yurkov, Danylo Mohylov, Nikita Bulaievskyi, Oleksandr Yudchenko, Artur Kyrylovets;
group 131-2 – Danylo Kravchuk, Andrew Karmanov;
group 132-2 – Volodymyr Pshenichuk.
As part of the event, participants presented their researches in the form of scientific posters and discussed their practical significance. Among the current modules of Maritime English course, the students chose the following topics for researches: “Bulk Cargo Carriers”, “The Science of Tankers”, “Elementary First Aid”, “Emergency at Sea”, “LSA”, “Marine Pollution Prevention”.
The expert-mentors of the event Valentyna Kudryavtseva – PhD, Head and Professor of the Department, Docent, and Svitlana Barsuk – PhD, Deputy Head in Methodical Work and Associate Professor of the Department commented on the presented researches and gave positive feedbacks. The cadets were invited to participate in “Virtual Poster Session II” which will be organised next academic year.
