On 12 May 2023, a workshop was held in the format of a round table for teachers of the department on the topic “Online Course Efficiency”, initiated by Ph.D., Associate Professor Svitlana Barsuk and Teacher Valeriia Bondarenko.
The discussion was based on the results of the anonymous survey, in which the staff of English Language Department for Deck Officers and cadets of Navigation Faculty took part. The questions were about the practice of working with online student`s books and teachers` individual courses on Moodle.
As the result of the discussion, the members of the department came to the conclusion that online books are effective tools and an integral part of online education. It was agreed to develop new instructions for online books taking into account the peculiarities of remote teaching.
