He graduated with honors in 1974 from HMU MMF named after Lieutenant Schmidt. He began his career in the Soviet Danube Shipping Company, later worked in the Far North on a hydrographic ship. He has worked for “Ukrrichflot” for more than 15 years, and in recent years for foreign ships under contract.
He currently cooperates with the Inspection for the Training and Certification of Seafarers, is the chairman of the State Qualification Commission for Certification of Seafarers of the KSMA.
He has been working in the staff of the Kherson State Maritime Academy since March 2018, before that he was involved as a member of the State Qualification Commission of the Inspection for Training and Certification of Seafarers for certification of cadets in the field of “Navigation” with a bachelor’s degree.
Teaches the discipline “International rules for the prevention of collisions of ships at sea and the use of radar and ZARP in the divergence of ships.” The teacher’s lectures are deep, full of great practical material.
Artemenko A.G. has extensive practical experience and encyclopedic knowledge in the field of navigation and ship management, he is respected by both teachers of the academy and cadets.
