PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor
Luginin O.E. was born in 1949. He graduated from the Nikolayev Shipbuilding Institute (MKI) in 1971 with a degree in “Shipbuilding and Ship Repair”, “Strength of Ships”. After graduating from MKI he worked at the Department of Ship Building Mechanics MKI.
He defended his dissertation in 1979, received the title of associate professor in 1984, the title of professor of NUS (National University of Shipbuilding) in 2006, elected academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Economic Cybernetics in 2002.
From 1979 to the present he also works in the Kherson branch of NUS, having passed the way from the assistant to the professor of the department “Construction and repair of ships”. The list of scientific and methodical works is more than 200 works, including a monograph, 6 textbooks, 20 textbooks with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science.
Areas of research:
1) General and local strength of vessels;
2) economic and mathematical modeling of phenomena and processes.
