She graduated from Kherson State Pedagogical Institute in 1978, specialty – Mathematics, qualification – Teacher of Mathematics.
Since September 1978 she has been working as a teacher at a higher educational institution.
Since 1989 – Ph.D. in specialty 01.01.06. Mathematical logic, algebra and number theory.
Since 1995 – Associate Professor of Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering.
Teaches disciplines Mathematical statistics and theoretical foundations of navigation, Astronomical methods of navigation.
Scientific and pedagogical experience in higher educational institutions – 43 years, 14 years in KSMA.
Olena Gudireva has more than 100 scientific and methodological works. She is the author / co-author of 4 scientific articles included in Scopus and Web of Science Core collection, 12 articles in foreign scientific journals, 43 scientific articles issued in professional editions of Ukraine and 11 abstracts of reports in collections of international and domestic conferences, 25 teaching and methodological and teaching aids, 10 guidelines for students and cadets. She took part in 12 international conferences.
Research interests: teaching of professional disciplines in process of mariners’ training, use of latest information technologies, distance learning technologies, astronavigation.
